  • There are 185 drops of water in a liter.
  • A leak of 1/4 liter per minute equals 131,400 liters per year.
  • A 1-cm tube dribbling water on a pump seal has been found to use as much as 2 million liters per year.
  • Most water savings are found in small, unnoticed leaks or unnecessary uses, not highly visible floods.
  • Most necessary small water flows can be optimized.
  • More conveyor lube is not necessarily better, but is wasteful.
